| Life doesn't have to be the way that it is for FAR too many people. Complicated and full of trouble and questions. Jesus Christ has always been the answer to your every need. He makes life work in the way that is right. The Bible makes claims for Jesus that are utterly awesome - Christ is the exact likeness of the unseen God ... Christ Himself is the Creator who made everything in heaven and earth, the things we can see and the things we can't ... Those words can be found in first Chapter of the book of Colossians - in the Bibles New Testament. (There are many different versions of the Bible - the one quoted above is The Living Bible. Jesus says that if the Son shall set you free you shall be free indeed. Jesus says, For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. There is a freedom and Life which cannot be found outside of Christ. He says of Himself that He is the Way the Truth and the Life and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. The claims are wonderful and can be found to be true by YOU. The Bible says, Taste and see that the Lord is good. The Ten Commandments stand in your way Sin stands between us and God and God is Holy. We have been given free will and without exception have chosen to go against what God has declared to be right. For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and The Wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Exodus Chapter 20 The Lord said,
These are Ten Simple Rules God gave to me and you! Most people accept the Ten Commandment as good. They come from God Who is Very Good. This is His Standard - Jesus in summing up the Ten Commandments says - You shall Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and love your neighbour as yourself. - Now that sounds like a big slice of heaven, don't you think? LOVE is the key - Love God your Creator and love all those around you too. Have a think what breaking these commands makes you into as far as GOD is concerned - be honest. Told a lie? Me too... A Liar... Stolen anything... Ever..? A Thief.. Ever hated someone - Jesus teaches that if you even say you hate you are a murderer as far as GOD is concerned. Ever looked at a women lustfully? An Adulterer at heart - Jesus says! What about Number 3? We debase the Creators name to that of a common filth word! The Command of God says that He will not hold them guiltless who use His Name in vain. No other god but GOD? We make up a god that we are happy to pay token service to and produce something in our imagination to trust in! We all have fallen way short of His standard. Think for a while about how wonderful His standard is? Be honest as acknowledge how far you have fallen short... This isn't a guilt trip - just honesty! Jesus came to restore us to where we have fallen from - expensive and costly. But HE is willing and able to do just that? God has chosen Faith. Faith alone in God's Goodness - Jesus alone is willing and Able to reconcile you and me to where we need to be. Jesus came to seek and to save. He was determined to pay the price for our sins. God wanted to show the extent of His love in offering Himself for us - whilst we were still sinners - There is a GOD and we need His forgiveness BIG TIME. He for loves sake came Himself and did what the whole of history says He did. He offers total forgiveness right now through Jesus Christ sacrifice for your sins. You can be reconciled to GOD. By humbly confessing your sins and acknowledging your disparate need of Him as Saviour, Lord and GOD. Turn to Him, Live your life for HIM. If God is the smallest fraction of all He claims to be - HE IS WORTHY. YET GOD must be GOD INDEED - perfect in every way and 100% of all He claims to be. There can be no measure of His greatness. He is worthy to receive your life as a living sacrifice. A life lived for Him. READ the Bible and Pray and contact me to let me know.
